Dernier cri (pronounced /ˌdɝːn.jeɪ ˈkriː/) A French for the latest fashion, newest trend, or the "last word" in something. Something or someone very modern, stylish, or up-to-date. Literally translated it means "last cry". It entered the English language around the late 19th century.
A lustrous burnt umber in tone, the amorphous sapphire is held in a gently abstract partial bezel flowing east to west, exposing the soft naturals on either side of the stone.
