Jewelry is meant to be worn, loved, and lived in. With regular wear, even the most thoughtfully crafted pieces can show signs of use over time. We recommend removing your jewelry during activities that may expose it to impact, chemicals, or excessive wear, and having it inspected periodically to ensure stones and settings remain secure.
To protect your piece against loss or accidental damage, we strongly recommend jewelry-specific insurance. We'll provide information on coverage when you pick up your piece.

Ring Sizing
There is no such thing as a perfect ring size—only the right fit for you.
While we use professional sizing tools to determine an ideal starting point, ring sizing is ultimately a collaborative process. Finger shape, hand type, temperature, daily fluctuations, and even the design of the ring itself all influence how a ring fits throughout the day.
Much like finding the perfect pair of shoes, comfort is personal. We combine our experience with your feedback to find the size that feels secure, comfortable, and natural for everyday wear.
We recommend taking the time to get the fit right rather than sizing a ring multiple times. While an occasional adjustment is perfectly normal, repeated sizing can affect the long-term integrity of the ring. Our goal is to find the best fit from the start so your piece can be worn and enjoyed for years to come.
Your first sizing adjustment is complimentary within 30 days of receiving your ring, and we're always happy to help if your fit changes over time.
Metal Finishes
A ring's finish—whether a soft matte or a high polish—is just that: a finish. As your piece is worn, the surface will naturally evolve, developing a unique patina that reflects the life you've lived in it.
Precious metals are beautifully malleable, allowing them to be shaped, set, and finished by hand. That same quality means every ring will gradually change with wear. Some clients choose to preserve the original finish with periodic refinishing, while others embrace the character that develops over time.
We love that evolution. To us, a well-worn ring tells the story of a piece that has been truly loved.
Cleaning
Diamonds, sapphires, and precious metals are amazingly durable and impervious to corrosion. Daily wear and activities are perfectly safe but may cause your ring to get dirty, with the stones appearing to have lost their sparkle. Their slick surface can attract soap residue, lotion, and natural oils to stick to the stone (most often, the underside).
This is easily taken care of with some soap, warm water, and a soft-bristle toothbrush (extra points if it's electric). Simply soak your ring in warm soapy water and brush away gathered gunk on the underside of the stones and they will sparkle again!
Care
To re-cap, we love precious metals for their malleability, and diamonds and sapphires for their hardness, the perfect combo!
If the super-hard diamond or sapphire gets hit or knocked and is loosened in the relatively soft metal, it can eventually wiggle its way out. The same goes for lifted or damaged prongs and bezels.
The best way to prevent losing a stone is with regular (and complementary) check ups. The best way to cover yourself for loss or damage is jewelry insurance.
