Jökull

Jökull (pronounced "yo-kul" or "yer-kutl") is an Icelandic word that translates to glacier or ice cap. It is also used in Old Norse to describe a large mountain covered in ice and snow. Old Norse word meaning "icicle" or "glacier".It is also the linguistic root for the modern English word "icicle"
