The Nymphaea - TNF #1247
Nymphaea, commonly known as water lilies. The name comes from the Greek nymphaia and Latin nymphaea, inspired by water nymphs of mythology. They feature round, floating or emergent green leaves (lily pads) with a distinct radial notch, anchored by thick underground rhizomes or tubers in pond mud.
Left intentionally exposed in the partial bezel, the notched natural (sapphire's unpolished skin) makes the perfect everlasting lily pad.

TNF sapphires and RO antique diamonds feature naturals. Naturals are the "skin" of the rough gemstone. Naturals are left intentionally to indicate respect for the stones’ origins, natural earthworn shape and crystal habit.
