This gold coin is a replica of a silver coin minted approximately 1950 years ago (69-79 AD.) in the city of Rome.
The coin depicts the Roman Emperor Vespasian (69-79 AD), while the second side depicts a sow standing with her three piglets. Vespasian is best known for starting the construction of the Flavian Amphitheatre (Colosseum) and during Roman times, pigs and respective accompanying piglets represented prosperity for the Romans.
