This gold coin is a replica of a bronze coin minted approximately 1985 years ago (37-44 AD.) in Jerusalem.

The coin depicts 3 heads of barley and features a royal canopy with the inscription BACIAC on the obverse. This stands for the Greek title “ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ” which translates to “of the King”. The coin was minted during the reign of Herod Agrippa I, and the 3 heads of barley represent the third generation of the Herodian dynasty.
